This is why it's so important to listen to your body and act rather than react when you have no other choice, it is human nature to leave things until the last minute or not fix something until it is broken, but our body does not work this way. Even if you do take your knees for granted and end up speaking to a surgeon about your different options you soon find out that nothing is as good as what we originally have, so it time to act and preserve what you have got.
